continuing. Got lucky and it was the first bird I saw! On the Garden street side of the park (west of carousel). Initially seen in pine tree near carousel house close to train tracks. Popped around the bare trees in the courtyard and flew across Cabrillo to the pine tree in the beachside parking lot. White spectacles, mostly gray with a very slight yellowish tint to some feathers (which was much more noticeable when the bird was in the shade?). photos.
