Large reed bed along the creekline at the crossing with at Berthong Road and then accessible for about 400 more meters by walking along the edge of Milvale Road heading east. I played Spotless Crake motorized calls and Lewin’s Rail grunting calls about every 50 meters following along the creekline by Milvale Road. I had one Lewin’s Rail respond with grunting near the Berthong Road crossing and then I had another grunting about 300 meters east in the reed bed.
