Подробности наблюдения

Following up on Matt Baumann's Traill's Flycatcher from 6/8 and Bill West/Lois Farrington continuing with this bird on 6/9 (potentially hearing it sing). Extremely rainy conditions over the entire late afternoon/evening and night into morning of 6/10 made it almost certain that this bird would have stayed put. Conditions made this bird difficult to follow with the wind early on, number of trains going by (9 by my count), road noise, and the berms and ditches limiting movement. Bird also seemed very skittish, moving into cover or away if it saw my movement. Overall greenish above with weak wing bars and weak contrast. Underneath was pale with a yellow wash, whitish throat. Appeared to have the very thin eye ring like WIFL (and more so than the other western Flycatchers: DUFL/HAFL/WEFL), flatish head profile, and a large bill. Was not able to see color under the bill. Poor photos show a Traill's type shape. While the bird was being skittish and not allowing much approach, I was primarily focused on trying to get audio of this bird. "Pip/Peep" calls: 606p 650p 730p
