Possible young Yellow-headed Caracara . Bird was seen from Jetty at El Jardin near parking lot. This is the overlook where you have beach on both sides. Originally seen at approximately 7:15 - 7:20am heading north while being pursued by purple martins. About 10 mins later, the bird came back heading south. Did not fully realize what we may have had until later when I reviewed pics. Initially thought it may just be a juvenile Crested Caracara. Please see pics, will defer to raptor experts on this one.
