Yay! FOY and first for this location - past Guilford overpass near the little pond. I couldn’t find him though and I tried for 20 minutes 🤷♀️ but got eyes on several orioles and some nice audio though! 😎 Additional Notes: I've struggled with Orchard Oriole vs. Warbling Vireo vocalizations this season, but this Petersen audio guide was really helpful. https://www.nicerweb.com/peterchen/songs/Animals/Birds/Birding%20By%20Ear/00PlayMe.cgi?IX=12 Warbling Vireo has an even tempo, and typically ends on an up-slurred note that is higher pitched than the majority of the song. Orchard Oriole will end on a down-slurred burry/raspy note and is a bit more Robin-like. All About Birds also notes that the Orchard Oriole Song is typically 3-4 seconds long, and the Warbling Vireo is coming in around 2.5 to just under 3 seconds.
