Whew! Photos from both DW and RS. Slightly before 10:00, from around the second overlook from the cliffs overlooking the booby colony on the rail trail. A large black and white booby came up over a cliff to our west. Direct comparison next to Red-footed Boobies showed a long, exaggerated, gangly appearance. It has entirely black dorsal sides to wings, a white back, a black tail, and a bright pink bill with a black tip and some black around the eye. Circled a few times, was briefly harassed by a Great Frigatebird, and then vanished back over the cliff to our west. RS: All I can add to DW's description is that without him calling out the behavior of the Abbott's Booby as it circled the bluff to our west, I would have missed it. I had just asked him how I would know if I was looking at the Abbott's Booby, and he spotted it through his binoculars. From my vantage point, the show ended when Abbott's Booby headed out west to sea. It was a brief two-minute Photo Op, and the lady was gone as quickly as she appeared.
