Подробности наблюдения
Continuing amazing find by Dawn Garcia. Many, many thanks. Dedicating this lifer to Dawn. Silver beaked brownish female or immature bird with white throat, heavy streaks on white chest and belly, and prominent white wing patch. As seen during sunset, brown color was a bit dark and rufousy. Also had light eyerings. After almost 1.25 hours, after 3 CATOs showed up together, LABU popped up from cactus bushes onto the ocean side fence, I was on the opposite side. The first picture shows exactly how I saw it as a silhouette. I wasn't sure at all as even in binoculars, I couldn't see clearly. I slowly walked closer, first noted the white patch. This area is towards the south or bottom of the loop. Observed at 5.58pm for about 1.5 minutes before it flew across the road uphill. Pictures are so- so due to poor lighting. Many thanks to Rita Phillips and Beth for the sighting collaboration, intel, and hope. Lifer- Chase total stats: 60 miles driving 180 minutes
