Males and females carrying food into colony in thistle/mustard patch about 50M off the road. Sounds recorded from the colony include mostly Tricolored Blackbirds, but there were also Brewer's and Bicolored in this mix. Numbers of TRBL difficult to estimate but not massive. 50 is a very conservative count, and basically represents only the number of birds seen together at any one time.
