After hearing these at the beginning of the road, they apparently stopped calling about 7:30. We stopped and used tape at other spots along the 6.5k dirt track, but had given up and were driving to breakfast when we heard a loud call near the road. We played tape and watched the bird (male?) walk into view and approach within 20 feet, calling continuously. Photos and video.
