Примечания
These wild dogs were in a reintroduction program. The two adults were given to us by the deWildt Captive Breeding program and were raised in captivity. The two young adults also came from deWildt, but from a different group. The juvenile was wild; its parents had been shot on a farm in the Bushman land area - Northeastern Namibia. The dogs were in a huge enclosure, about 2 acres. In this recording, an Oryx had been introduced into the enclosure and they were circling it and diving it at it, biting it. The "display" that wild dogs do when excited is an alert head-up posture, with this high in the air and puffed out like white flags. Habitat: Grassland, Scrub. Equipment Notes: Field Recorder: video, 0.5" VHS;.
