Подробности наблюдения
Continuing vagrant Juvenile in fresh plumage compared directly with Pectoral Sandpiper at incredibly close range. Plump, medium-sized sandpiper (size, shape, structure all similar to PESA) with bright buffy tones on breast and edging to scapulars. Little to no streaking on center of breast noted, although light streaking on sides of breast present. Bold rufous cap and white eye ring obvious. Appeared to have slightly shorter bill compared to PESA -- Pale olive color rather than orange of PESA on lower mandible, extending from the base to just under half the length of bill. Orange base of bill on the Pectoral extended roughly 3 quarters of the way towards bill tip and was much more obviously bi-colored. See comparison photo. Spent about an hour in total with the Sharp-tailed, Pectoral, and two Wilson's Snipe while sitting on the bank. See photos
