Подробности наблюдения
Two seen together, I believe they were a pair. They were both singing, but they weren't territorial towards each other. My first in New England, and I was pretty proud of myself for recognizing the song right away, since the first song I heard sounded very similar to Gray Catbird (which I'd seen and heard 30+ of), but with an American Robin "chup" opening note. After about 10 minutes it switched to a more "traditional" WEVI song. I discovered there were two when a second joined in to scold a Blue Jay, and then this second bird began to sing as well. The second bird immitated a Northern Flicker's "peough" call in the opening note of its song. In the gulch type trail heading to the water
