Подробности наблюдения
First heard giving high, sharp chip calls, then seen briefly but well by numerous observers as it flew from mesquite to mesquite, foraging. Relatively large warbler with short tail, olive colored back and buffy breast and head. Bold black stripes through eye and on crown clearly visible (initially seen from behind and was able to see both crown stripes and eyestripes clearly) the few times it was seen well. Large, sharply pointed bill also noted by observers. One bad photo acquired, showing black face stripes, buffy underparts and olive upperparts, large sharply pointed bill and pink legs. Unfortunately, some artifact of the light shining through the trees gives the bird the appearance of having wing bars, but the bird was observed just before photo was taken and ID was confirmed. **second photo discovered the following day by Jarrod Swackhamer who had previously assumed he hadn’t gotten any decent shots.
