I arrived at the top before Nick. I heard distant chickadee calls as he was heading up and he texted me that he was seeing and hearing Mountain Chickadees. Shortly after, the calls grew louder and a small group flew into a spruce close to the viewpoint. I counted 5 and there may have been more.
