Подробности наблюдения
****MEGA! Approximately the 17th record for Alaska, and only the second documented for Juneau. Jackpot. About 40 minutes after the first Palm Warbler sighting, another yellow bird flew into the same shrub above the feeders that the Palm Warbler used and I fully expected it to be the Palm again. Instead, I immediately noticed the bold white eye-ring, gray hood, and yellow throat. "NASHVILLE WARBLER!" I called out. Unbelievable. Chaos ensued as I frantically tried to document it. Shortly thereafter it flew off, but I was able to draw it back in with a mobbing tape. It did basically the exact same thing an hour later, and Gus and Patty Rose were able to come over to enjoy it. Both times it dropped into the backyard occurred when there was immense junco activity but I believe both warblers are only extremely loosely following the bird activity around this neighborhood.
