Подробности наблюдения
While we considered Least, I think this is an Alder Flycatcher. The bill is too substantial for a Least, and while the eye ring is quite distinct (eliminating Willow in my mind), it appears narrow than a Least's would be. The primary projection appears short as does the tail, but that may or may not be due to foreshortening. The tail is quite wide for a Least. I did hear a vocalization that was not Che-bek, or any sharp pip, shortly after it flew. I couldn’t positively say it came from this bird since I didn’t actually SEE it sing, but it was near where the bird had dropped down. It was a soft song/call, but hard to describe, kind of a short roll (which favors Alder). It was flicking (tail and/or wings--hard to say), but when we saw it, it was catching a bug, so how much of the flicking was that and how much was just flicking, I can't say.
