Bearded Woodpeckers (Chloropicus namaquus) are widespread in southern Africa, and quite common in Kruger National Park. These male Bearded Woodpeckers were part of a trio that included a female that was feeding on the trunk of a dead acacia in Satara Rest Camp in Kruger National Park.
