Подробности наблюдения
First found yesterday (February 4) by Al Sinclair coming to his feeders. Several people came to see it yesterday. It was first seen today at 9am but disappeared about 9:30. When I arrived at about 9:40 Greg Stuart and Keven Seymour were already waiting (they hadn't seen it yet). At 10am I spotted it coming into a Sugar Maple in a Hemlock stand just west of the house. We watched it eating snow from the branches of the Sugar Maple until I left. It was easy to observe several key field marks, including red orbital ring, orange basal half of bill, orange legs, pale band on tail (distal half). The bird is in first basic plumage and so shows no sign of a ring or other patterning on nape. Photos were taken and will be sent to OBRC for documentation and posted on my blog: http://mikeburrell.blogspot.com/ 8309224058_ea95e8d9f0.jpg" alt="Bracebridge-20120205-00191" />
