Примечания
Fledgling begging for food with lots of cries, open beak, wing flapping and some feeding. This is a typical scene of a fledgling crow asking for food--with cries, wing flapping and an open mouth. Other crows can be heard calling in the background. About a year ago a pair of American crows quietly found our suet feeders. In the next couple of weeks they brought their fledglings to our suet feeders. This year the fledglings are being brought to our feeders one-by-one--this video is a typical experience. Over the last year, the group of crows feeding became bigger and bigger and I have counted as many as 25 crows at one time in our garden. They jockey for position on our suet feeders, sitting on tree branches and any perch they can find. Even though crows are often maligned, I find them very smart and endearing. Elevation: 146 m.
