A male Chestnut-bellied Seed-finch perching and singing. The Chestnut-bellied Seed-finch (Sporophila angolensis) is widely distributed through northern South America. These birds are found in shrubby or grassy clearings and on forest edges. This bird was perching and singing in regrowth forest on the edge of 101 Road near Iguazu National Park in north-eastern Argentina. Elevation: 259 m. Date added to IBC: February 16, 2019.
