A noisy colony of nesting Red-rumped Caciques in a palm. Red-rumped Caciques (Cacicus haemorrhous) breed in large colonies, often of 20-30 nests. Successful males are polygynous, and leave it up to the female to build the nest, incubate the eggs and raise the chicks. This large nesting colony is in a palm near the entrance of Iguazu National Park, in Argentina. Elevation: 218 m. Date added to IBC: February 17, 2019.
