Photographed. Chunkier, shorter tailed than Slender-tailed Nightjar, with a white malar stripe but no collar, rufous nape, dark auricular, lacking a white trailing edge on the secondaries. Behaviorally distinct from STNI as well, being much less flighty than a Slender-tailed; in fact, in never flushed even when we were standing <1m away from it!
