Подробности наблюдения
In pines at top of hill, silent, but active, frequent perch changes, and near constant tail flicking; Tail seems short as does primary projection compared to Acadian. Eye-ring looks yellow and bird has a yellowish cast compared to Least. Undersides at bit washed out due to direct morning sun, but are light for Yellow-bellied. Sibley states "some worn birds lack yellow color." This bird caught my eye because 1) it was in the pines, 2) it was flicking its tail almost constantly, 3) tail and primary projection didn't look right for Acadian (Acadian Flycatchers breed here and are usually seen and heard in the hardwoods along the creek, not that one couldn't have wandered).
