NOTES: Weather: WIND; CHIPS OF MALE AND FEMALE. FEMALE HAS HIGHER CHIPS. BIRDS FLITTING ABOUT NERVOUSLY. 1 MALE(S); 1 FEMALE(S) [This recording appears to contain "Chunk" Calls by both a male and a female, presumably members of a pair (following BNA and confirmed by Dr. Jean L. Woods, Delaware Mus. Nat. Hist.). As far as I can determine the recording alternates between highlighting the male and then the female as follows: it begins with calls by the male in the first part (0:035-0:175) then switches to calls by the female in the second and initial part of the third parts (0:185-0:595), before switching back to the male (1:005-1:10) and then back to the female when the male flew off briefly (1:105-1:31). It then returned to the male (1:345-2:25) before concluding with three calls by the female (2:26-2:275). Calls by the second bird are heard in the background almost throughout this recording. I am not sure which call is represented by the two vocalizations at 0:136-0:138, but these calls do sound somewhat different than the rest. Quality changed from 2 to 2, 2-1 (BEST calls are at 1:54-2:55) - CAM - 16 September 2005]. Other Behaviors: Emit Alarm.
