This recording contains the repeated CHIP! of this agitated Winter Wren. Each chip is in double, triple, or repeated four times. A recorded WIWR call was played once to bring the bird in, but the playback is not on this recording. There are a lot of birds heard in the background, including TUTI, NOCA and PIWA, but the WIWR sound is loud and clear. Presumably the same WIWR as checklist S42990592 (same exact location, different day).

Usual spot, just above the bridge where the Upland Forest Trail begins, in a brushy area. Responds to recorded calls.
