From 'Bull's Birds of New York State' © 1998. Nonbreeding: The extreme migration dates of 2 Apr and 27 Nov, reported by Bull (1974), still stand. In general, it appears to settle on its breeding grounds by mid-May and depart by mid-Aug. The only winter record is the observation of a bird visiting a feeder in Suffolk Co. 26 Dec 1963-14 Jan 1964.
