Oh my goodness, the Serins really are back! A winter solstice gift. Two extremely lively groups this morning, with 22 in the pine trees where I always found them back in the spring, and a further six singing from the fruit garden behind the house. Listen to them! Both of these recordings were the group of 22. I tried to record the smaller group but the Magpies kept interrupting.
