Possible hybrid, based on some blackish feathering across the breast. More interestingly, the bill is completely pale, which is not indicated in any sapsuckers. Steve Shunk also noticed that this bird has not finished its pre-formative molt, which possibly indicates hybridization, but also possibly is a result of the same genetic mutation causing the pale bill.
