Great find by Eric Hilt this morning. When Frank and I arrived, Matthew Palmieri was on the bird, flying back and forth out on the water. The buff rump was evident when it banked. We then realized there were two! Eventually giving close enough looks to discern pale throat and dark cap. First Davidson county record.
