Small loon. Slender dark bill. Clean neckline w/ thin chinstrap. Rounded head and dark-hooded appearance. Dark upperparts w/ subtle barred white on mantle. Closer today compared to Nov 2nd. Observed resting/diving alone from 8-10:45am, harassed often by nearby gulls. We eventually lost it drifting to the north as winds shifted and wave action increased. Photos.
