I admit these are on the larger side for "Richardson's". The bill is squashed and bumpy at the base, heads "blocky". The neck stayed very short throughout movements; and at least one bird clearly had a "silvery" looking mantle. All the geese were along/near the far shore, so even digiscope pics don't do the field observations justice.
