3 chicks in nest of Gray Kingbird female. The large bills and dark masks seen in these images and documented earlier by others suggest we must consider the Kingbird chicks might be pure Gray Kingbirds and not hybrids. Perhaps the male died after mating and the female flew a long way with stored sperm, while delaying egg laying. We shall see.
