Recording for my historical Texas County birding record. This bird was seen by many, is well-documented and accepted by the TBRC. We arrived to the stake-out area along the Lantana Loop at noon, to find a very large group of birders searching for the bird; everyone then saw it there but us! We moved down to a day-use area where it had also been reported, and I found the Grassquit feeding in the grass. My poor photo is attached.
