Detalhes da observação
We had good looks at a Myiarchus flycatcher perching on fence wires on the edge of the open brushy field near the entrance road to the farm on the NW side of Spittal Pond next to the car park (exact coordinates: 32.3126698, -64.7279702). Bird looked relatively slender and slim-billed compared to Great-crested Flycatcher we are more familiar with. Plumage was pale overall with light gray head and throat, pale yellow belly. Bright rufous webs to tail feathers were clearly visible in flight along with rufous edges to outer primaries. The bird stayed in the open perching a meter or so above the ground sallying out repeatedly from perches on the wire. It did not vocalise but responded strongly when we tried playing a call of Ash-throated Flycatcher. Based on plumage, habits, and response to call we thought this looked like an Ash-throated Flycatcher (way out of range!), will upload photos for confirmation.
