Behavior and other notes: Adult male Purple Finch singing first songs of the morning from about 0.3 meters from the ground in a fence row. He was singing songs and run-on songs while well hidden in the tangle of branches. he then flew up to a nearby Maple and ate a few flowers and continued to sing.
