Wood-warbler song systems: a review of paruline singing behaviors. Current Ornithology 9: 199-238; see also Figure 9 (#2773-5) of Mayfield, H. 1960. The Kirtland's Warbler. Cranbrook Institute of Science. Bull. 40. Bloomfield Hills, Michigan). Typical of these songs, the bird was singing at a rapid rate and it was giving chip calls throughout. In addition to 40 "Chatter Songs," there are five typical, Type I songs at 1:21-1:51, these essentially identical to the songs in LNS #61273 and 61274.
