flew in 7:45 am to east rescaca on south side of Hwy 100 and perched on snag about 40' from pond's edge; observed for about 40 seconds, photos taken; then it flew across same rescaca to other side and perched in a willow tree; found it in the scope and observed for about 2 mintues; Kingfisher dark green in color, larger than Green Kingfisher species; black bill longer and thicker than Green species, white colar with green breast band broken in middle of chest and with rather plain dark green wings with very little white spotting noticed only 3 very small white spots on wing
