Detalhes da observação
*RARE* Awesome experience, I suppose my reward for finishing my last final exam of the year this morning. Decided on a whim to go down the alternate trail that starts at the end of Hollins Ferry Rd. (rather than walking down Halethorpe Farms Rd.). Less than 100 yards from the trailhead, I stopped cus I thought I heard WEVI (it wasn’t). While I was stopped I heard the tail end of a BTBW/CERWish song. Fully expected it to be a BTBW, then I got eyes on it. Watched it singing at close (though usually high and obstructed) range for about thirty minutes before it got chased by another warbler. Note: No saturation done to the first two photos, it was just that blue. Crazy to see how the vibrance of the color changes depending on the view you have. When it was low down, was shockingly blue, when it was high up, looked relatively drab.
