Female at nest. Remarks: Observed this female in her nest. My immediate reaction was 'what a small nest compared to the size of the bird'. This bird sat immobile for at least 20-25 minutes as I watched from a distance. The male did not put in an appearance in that time. The nest is adjacent to a well frequented jungle path and quite low too (approx 6ft from the ground) so her choice of location may not be that great. The only hope is that the rains will soon make the path inaccessible. Date added to OBI: May 19, 2011.
