Two adults sleeping and a family group of 4 (two adults, two grayish young birds) upriver along the trail in a wide shallow area. They tended to wake up when a train first started to go by. When Mute Swans flew in, the family group became alert and gave echoing honks. Long sloping black bills, black connected with eye not narrow, sloping gape. Digiscoped photos. FOY
