5MR and county bird. Spotted on deciduous tree at edge of field and initial reaction was MODO but tail was too long. Was able to approach base of tree and see it was a small accipiter with broad shoulders and a small head. Took some blurry phone photos and returned 10 min later with camera. Found bird in different tree watching the field. Followed the bird to 3 locations as it hunted around the field and photos confirm SSHA based on size, broad shoulders, square tail, small head, cute face, dark nape and small legs, textbook SSHA. Lost when was distracted by 7 CORAs flying over. Photos.
