Worth noting is that while there were plenty of Bonaparte's at this location, there were just as many at other locations, such as Mecca and the Niland Boat Launch. A mix of nonbreeding adults, 1st winter and other immature, though I did observe 2 with an almost complete black face. Most out on the sea, approx 150 in the harbor at any one time.
