Detalhes da observação
Literally the first bird I saw when I got out of the car was a Yellow-rump with a yellow throat. I was sure it was an Audubon's, but after I had spent a few minutes clicking away at it with my camera, I started to notice a strong, dark 'Myrtle mask' on the otherwise solid gray head. Not really a very noticeable field mark, but it gave the face a whole different "look" very different from Audubon's. Studying the photos afterward, I also noticed the tiny bit of white just above the loral area -- like the beginnings of the white eyeline of a Myrtle. Other than those few details, the bird looked overall very much like an Audubon's, and I was really a little disappointed it wasn't a pure one. Probably 95% Audubon or something.
