NOTES: 81 (31/50) songs of BIRD #2 recorded at dawn (5:50:40); I missed five songs getting onto the bird, which began with its first long-call at 5:32:19 am, and its first song at 5:32:51 am; the unseen bird was right up over my head 30-35 meters up in a huge tree in generally tall, terra firme forest; my first time announcement was at 5:37:20 am; the bird was moving around a bit, but generally not going too far each time, moving to trees about 10-12 meters apart each time, and roughly in a triangle of which I was in the middle; the songs in the latter part of the cut are somewhat run together; at the end of the cut the bird was about 35 meters up over my head in a large tree with a dbh of about a meter; my time announcement was about a minute before the tape ended; the bird used three perches during the duration of this cut, all in 35-40 meter tall, canopy emergents; this recording contains a single long-call; recorded 250 meters short of Estrada do Gave¿, along road to house and Rio Barra Seca [19¡ 04Õ 21" S, 39¡, 53Õ 47" W]; this cut continues as cut #99-100-01.
