Local livestock farm and processing facility attracts species that feed on animal waste; apparent dumping area far removed from roadside, surrounded by white pine forest. Black Vultures drawn to this site in increasing numbers over the past few years. Night roost seems to be a location southwest from the farm, probably in nearby Quabbin Reserve forest land. At sunset the vultures began departing the dump area in a steady stream. Possibly a few were missed.
