hard to pick out of the mess of meadowlark and SAVS calls, but there was a GRSP calling in this recording

Detalhes da observação

Individually counted. We covered a lot of ground prior to and just after first light, which is when we heard 6 of the grasshopper sparrows. 8 identified by call, 1 by sight. Call an insect-like quickly repeating "ti ti" with two sections of sound, creating the insect-like sound. Later on, when we got one to sit up for over 5 minutes, there were two others calling, one with a single note, and one with the double note. The one we observed was calling with a single note as well. I have multiple recordings of the "ti ti" calls. The single note is high and sounds like a single note from the "ti ti" call. There were very likely many more along our path that were doing the single "ti" call that we missed due to the difficulty of picking that call out of the dawn song cacophony, especially from the meadowlark
