Dusky-capped flycatcher calls/trills several times throughout video. Other birds can be heard in the background including warblers and a red-whiskered bulbul. I apologize for the additional background I created with my movements and steps. Had heard more typical "wheer" call over the course of the morning but wasn't able to find a good sample in the recording. Recorded on iPhone17 on built-in microphone through Merlin. 11/29/25 @ 6:35 AM at Vincent Lugo Park Sunny and approximately 50 deg.

Continuing. Flycatcher similar to ashy throated but smaller. Brown back, pale grey throat and yellow belly. Dark, large crest, thin bill. Rufous in the wings. Brown undertail. Heard the “wheer” call periodically but also one that ended in a trill which can be heard in the audio recording. Sorry for the background noise.
