male Black-and-White Warbler

This bird was first seen on the coastal side of the Turri Road Bridge over Los Osos Creek and last seen flying across bridge to inland side. The bird popped up on a willow snag while I was pishing and then foraged in the willows around the snag. I immediately noted the strong black and white pattern on the bird and the two white wing bars on the black wings. There were bold black streaks on the sides and undertail and the bird lacked a buffy wash on the sides or flanks indicated this is a male and likely an adult. (Photos)
