Detalhes da observação

Chicken sized white birds with yellow bills and black legs. Much smaller than nearby Great Egrets. They preferred to walk around in grassy weedy areas while the Great Egrets preferred walking in water several inches deep. Photos taken. The Cattle Egrets for the most part stayed together as a flock separate from Great Egrets.
