Immature much larger than adjacent Herring Gulls. Giant gull with huge blocky shaped white head and very hefty dark bill. Mantle spangled light and dark. Many photos available. Note size contrast with Herring Gull behind it. (In the last photo, #6236, I am also curious about the Herring like gull directly in front of the GBBG. It seems to have a slightly darker mantle and thinner bill than the other Herrings)
